Best of all, The Yard will donate $5 for every tree when you mention Memphis Botanic Garden, so you are helping keep materials out of the landfill while supporting the Garden’s environmental efforts. The Yard is a recycling and composting facility with a passion for providing superior landscape products for commercial and residential use. Bartlett Gardening University - Session 2: What Hydrangea Where
Master Gardener, Linda Lanier, will present a class on "What Hydrangea Where?" This class is also called "Hydrangeas for Sun and Shade". The presentation discusses which hydrangea species does best in what type of location, how to prune it and the varieties available. Talk includes many photos of hydrangeas in the speaker's garden and from garden tours.

January 22 – March 26. TN Naturalist Program. Mondays, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. First class and last class end at 3. One evening session TBA. The Tennessee Naturalist Program is a corps of volunteers providing education, outreach, and service, dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities. TN Naturalist Program participants will complete a training course of 40 hours instruction plus 40 hours of approved volunteer service activities. $225 course fee. Memphis Horticultural Society Meeting - The Foodscape Revolution
Brie Arthur studied Landscape Design and Horticulture at Purdue University. With more than a decade of experience as a grower and propagator at leading nurseries such as Plant Delights and Camellia Forest, she now combines her passion for plants and sustainable land management by communicating the value of gardening across the US. Brie has been dubbed a revolutionary for her leadership in the suburban Foodscape movement and for her work with public schools across the US. She appears as correspondent on the PBS Television show “Growing A Greener World” and recently published her debut book, The Foodscape Revolution. In 2017, Brie was honored as the first recipient of The American Horticultural Society’s Emerging Horticultural Professional Award.
