Junior Master Gardener Camp offers a fun and educational experience for students and Master Gardener volunteers alike. Campers learn about nature, science, wildlife, and plants through hands-on projects, games, on-site field trips, and make-and-take-home crafts. We use the Junior Master Gardener curriculum, and volunteers don’t need teaching experience. Volunteers generally help distribute activity materials and assist campers, but are welcome to serve as presenters.

Camp is held on the Agricenter lawn near the Farmers Market. We’ll be outside, and weather may be hot, or rainy, or absolutely beautiful. (If it rains, we’ll shift to covered space.)

JMG Camp is a MAMG CoRe Activity.

Dates: Monday – Friday, June 9 – 13, 2023
Camp Hours: 9 AM – Noon
Camp Volunteer hours: 8:15 AM – 12:30 PM. (Volunteers do not have to commit to all five days)
Camp Participants: Ages 8-11 (entering grades 3-6).
