Free event. No registration or parking fees. Community members across the Mid-South are invited to enter their homegrown tomatoes in one or more of the tomato categories: Slicing, Heirloom, Cherry, Heaviest, or Whatever(unique, ugly, unusual). Awards will be given:
Best Overall Tomato $300.
Best of Show – Slicing $100
Best of Show -Heirloom $100
Best of Show – Cherry $100
Best of Show – Whatever $100
Heaviest Tomato $100
Best Salsa $100
Junior Winner $100 (youth up to 12 yrs of age)
Entries will be accepted on July 20th from 9:00 am – 11 am
Judging will be held from 12-3pm
The awards ceremony is at 4:00 pm
Cooking Demo at 2:00 pm
Special Music guest at 3:00 pm- Hawaiian North 40 Ukulele Players.
