Scholarship Program Guidelines

The Memphis Area Master Gardener’s Scholarship Program was created to encourage and foster the love of gardening and awareness of the Master Gardener’s program in future generations. MAMG offers $2,000 scholarships to Shelby County residents graduating from high school and accepted to a college or currently enrolled college students (past recipients of MAMG Mary Wade Scholarship) who are pursuing degrees in the fields of agriculture, environmental sciences, horticulture, landscape architecture and/or related fields. Students must be enrolled in agriculture, horticulture, environmental science programs such as garden clubs, Future Farmers of America, or Sierra Club.

​Return completed application according to directions. Deadline for applications is March 19, 2021. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 1, 2021.

The 2021 application and guidelines will be available January 2021.
