We are depending on all Master Gardeners to bring us a Great number of plants so we can have a Great sale!

Plant donations are due on Thursday, March 21, 2024. You may drop them off at the Red Barn Plant Sale Area from 8:00 am to 4:00. If you cannot bring them Thursday you may bring them early Friday morning, but it must be before 9:00 AM. 

Plants & Labels!  All plants should be in a clean pot, neatly groomed, look healthy and appealing.

 Label sticks will be available at the sale setup and at the MAMG meetings. We are not using paper labels anymore.  We need the Common name plus Scientific if it fits. If there is a bloom color, please use a color code. Color codes are Yellow (Y) Purple (PP) Red (R) Pink (PK) Orange (O) Blue (B) White (W) Green (G) etc.

What Sells? Hellebores, Solomon’s Seal and most other perennials are desirable, especially named varieties. Herbs, vegetables, and bulbs sell also. 

If bringing bulbs, place them in paper bags, not plastic, as the heat will damage them in plastic. Please put groups of bulbs in each bag and place the label on the bag, preferably with a picture. One bag equals one donated plant.

What Not To Bring:  Please do not bring annuals, seedlings, monkey grass, daffodils, common ditch lilies, or bare rooted trees and shrubs. 

We truly appreciate your help, whether it is donating plants or volunteering in the Plant Sale Area. We couldn’t do it without you!
