Program 7 pm | Refreshments 6:30 pm Members free | Guests $5   Bio:  Wes Hopper has been in the field of Arboriculture since 1983 starting his career with the Davey Tree Company. He later left Davey Tree and began his career as a private residential tree care service which he operated for 26 years. He moved on from a business owner to serve the City of Germantown, TN as their Natural Resources Manager and City Arborist. He is now back in the private sector as an Urban Forestry Consultant. He currently serves as an active board member on the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council and the West Tennessee Chapter of the TUFC. He served on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Arboriculture, Southern Chapter and moved through the ranks to Past President. He has recently been re-elected to proudly serve as the Tennessee State Director once again. Wes also serves on the City of Memphis Tree Board and the Memphis Light Gas and Water Power Outage Improvement Commission.  He was a consultant for the City of Memphis, MLGW Forestry Division, The City of Bartlett, The Town of Lakeland, The Town of Collierville, and the Memphis Zoo. He has served for many years and continues to serve as an expert witness on and off the stand to provide the legal sources with information that may be required from a seasoned Certified Arborist.
