Herbs aren’t just delicious and healthful, they are also beautiful! Come to learn about designing vase arrangements that feature homegrown herbs. Local flower farmer and florist, Marisa Mender-Franklin, will discuss her favorite herbs to use in flower arrangements and will create a vase arrangement featuring herbs grown on her midtown-based farm.

Bio:
Marisa Mender-Franklin is the flower farmer and florist behind Midtown Bramble and Bloom, an urban micro-farm business based in Midtown Memphis. Midtown Bramble grows flowers, herbs, and native plants in 9 yards and empty lots in the neighborhood and sells them at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market and in their florist shop located in Cooper-Young. Midtown Bramble is a full-service florist, offering everything from deliveries to full-service weddings. Marisa and her husband, Corey, live in Cooper-Young with their senior pup, Miles, and many, many plants.
